Zanzibar - Earth, Wind & Fire

From 1973, a 13 minute epic that
always inspires a smile.

There's music that I listen to and collect today that had I known this would happen 10 or 20 years earlier, I'd have promptly sat down and said to myself: "Now look amigo..."

Because I hated any combination of rock, jazz, and funk. And I considered the 70s the worst ever decade in music.

But things change. And I never had that conversation with myself. And "Zansibar" develops into some great grooving (I especially like the midpart).

Much obliged :)

Still to this day, this is the only song I listen to, after all this time.
There was so much music back then, both good and bad, but musically, Maurice White and the group were quite good.
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers!
