Sam Butera was born in New Orleans, La in 1927.
It's said, without him, Louis Prima would never
have been as big as he was.
He played with Prima for 20 yrs, with his group the Witnesses.
He sang and played Sax.
He's still playing in Las Vegas once inawhile.
